* About Connect 4:
Connect 4, is a two-player board game in which the objective is to be the first to get four of one's own discs in a line. The players have 21 discs each, distinguished by color, the players take turns dropping colored discs from the top into a 7x6 grid. The goal of the game is to arrange four pieces in a row, horizontal, vertical and diagonally either way will achieve 4 in a row. The pieces fall straight down, occupying the next available space within the column, the game ends in a draw if the board is filled completely without any player winning.
* Gulo -> Vianiato -> Vianiato 2.0:
Gulo was the first version and was never really released, Vianiato was the real release which quickly was established as the best Connect 4 program out there almost 10 years later and it is still considered #1 and Vianiato 2.0 will focus on the Pop-out game-style in Connect 4 and surely also be the best in that game-style.
* Vianiato 2.0: Pop-out:
Pop Out starts the same way as traditional connect 4 gameplay, with an empty board and players take turns placing their own colored discs into the board. During each turn, a player can either add another disc from the top or if the player has any discs at the bottom row, the player can remove / "pop out a disc. Popping a disc out from the bottom drops every disc in that column down, changing their position with the rest of the board and changing the possibilities for a connection horizontally, vertically or diagonally, the first player to connect 4 of their discs horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins the game.
